SBIG의 신형 카메라들 중에서 중초점~장초점에 맞으며, 픽셀하나하나의 성능이 뛰어나며, 가격이 크게 비사지 않은 모델을 골라 보았습니다.
비슷한 가격대에 KAI-4020M이 있는데, 화소수는 400만화소로 높으나 픽셀 사이즈가 작은 대신 총면적이 작아서 장초점에 불리하고, 감도가 상대적으로 떨어지는 단점이 있습니다.
35미리 프레임을 커버하는 KAI-11000M은 좋기는 하지만 ^^, 좀 비싸고 사용하는 광학계가 35mm 프레임을 커버하는지 확인할 필요가 있습니다. (35미리 구석에서도 성상이 9미크론을 보이는 망원경은 그리 많지 않습니다.)

This model utilizes a 1.3 megapixel Full Frame, Enhanced (Blue Plus) CCD with medium sized (16 micron) pixels.  Like the rest of the Full Frame "E" sensors the KAF-1302E has very high QE across the visible spectrum and into the near IR.  The excellent QE plus the medium sized pixels will make this camera a top performer on medium to large telescopes of greater than about 100 inches focal length.   This detector is also available in an antiblooming version.  Our target price for this model is under $8000.
