New Image: Mars


Thanks George,

The seeing was quite variable... averaging 2.5-3 acrseconds. I obtained
this image with an ST8 (the ST10 I usually use is at SBIG) at f/16.8 (2x
barlow). Below you will find an example (for the better) of the raw frames
I was working with:

I summed around 40 images in each color (fastest exposure times possible).
Registered the images in AIP4WIN.
Summed and scaled in Maxim
Deconvolved in Maxim (Maximum Entropy)
