Subject: new images: M8 and a galaxy-triplet in Grus
Hello,
here are two images , taken with our new primary focus corrector lens, which allows us to make shots with a focal length of 1800 mm and a f-ratio of only 3! ( We had to reduce our normal single shot times dramatically due to the ST 10, which is non-antiblooming.... Field of view is 28' x 19'.
M8 ( as a reminder of the gone summer) is a composite of one primary focus HaRGB-composite, taken in september, and one HaRGB-mosaic, taken in secondary focus in may.

The galaxy-triplet ( NGC 7582/90/99 ) in Grus was taken as LRGB-composite in primary focus with quit moderate exposure times of
45:9:9:9. Nevertheless we counted appr. 250 background galaies in this image.
