comment: 우여 곡절 끝에 냉각 ccd로 첫 사진을 찍어 보았습니다. 집에 와서 설날 집에서 이리저리 이미지 처리를 해봐도 색감의 향상이라던지 조화를 맞추기가 너무 힘이 드는군요. 그래도 열심히 처리해서 올립니다. 앞으로 많이 배워야 할 것같군요. 이 사진이 나올 수 있도록 여러 도움을 주신 황인준님, 선숙래님, 아남니콘의 윤석군에게 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
M81 is the Galaxy which can be seen to the north sky in winter. This is the first one I took a photo with cooled CCD camera. That day was at the end of December 2003 by the lunar calender. After 2 days from that day, which will be January 1st by the lunar calender. In Korea most people celebrate New Year's Day by the lunar calender. New Year's Day is joyful and meaningful for Koreans.
According to the photo above, it can be noticed that I'm still poor at Imaging Process that's because the color showed light blue. There are some friends who are good at Imaging Process. They can teach me well. Mr Hwang is the very one. Even though he doesn't have cooled CCD camera but he takes nice photos with his natural talent(instinct like animal=동물적인 감각으로). I have learned a lot from him. I owed him this photo. Thanks to him. What a nice guy!
On that day photo was taken, it had snowed almost all night long, just cleared up after 3 o'clock AM. The photo place was in a remote village, what is called Astrovillage. It was beautiful sunny day, was the typical Korean winter. All the mountain was fully covered with snow. However the sky at night was filled with clouds and had snowed continuously, so I gave up on photo, tried to sleep reluctantly. Got upset and couldn't sleep. My company Mr Lee who is a professor turned from side to side too. His wife in Seoul called us that the weather would be cleared at around 3 O'clock. What a wonderful starry night! at 3 O'clock sharp, we couldn't see any clouds in the sky. That was what she said to him exactly. We rushed to the telescope, which was covered with snow. The temptature was -19 degree Celsius.
M81 photo will be the most my memorable photo.
